Engaging People with Lived Experience
Aug 9, 2016
Embracing the voice of people with mental illness and addiction is one of the key values of CMHA. This workbook is designed to help CMHA and other like-minded service providers bring this value to life through their work.
This workbook is a “how to” guide containing tools that you can use to enhance the engagement of people with lived experience of mental health conditions and addictive behaviours within your organization.
Tools such as Patient Journey Mapping are explored and a list of helpful resources included. The workbook also includes the journeys of three individuals with lived experience of mental illness.
