Mindful Creations: A 6-Week Journey of Art, Emotion, and Self-Discovery
Mindful Creations is a six-week program that blends mindfulness practice with creative expression to help participant: A 6-Week Journey of Art, Emotion, and Self-Discovery s build a deeper relationship with their emotions and themselves. Designed as a safe, supportive space, the program invites participants to slow down, tune in, and use art to explore what’s happening inside.
What the Program Offers
Each weekly session weaves together guided mindfulness, reflective discussion, and a hands-on creative activity. Drawing from skills rooted in mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance, and building healthy relationships, participants are gently supported in:
- Building awareness of thoughts, feelings, and the present moment
- Expanding their emotional vocabulary —Growing a fuller emotional vocabulary, with space for the full range of human feelings — the joyful, the tender, and the difficult
- Practicing healthier ways to navigate stress, conflict, and difficult emotions
- Reconnecting with themselves through color, texture, imagery, and creative play
No art experience is required. The focus is on the process, not the product.
A Typical Session
Sessions open with a mood check-in and/or grounding practice, move into a guided exploration of a featured theme (such as mindfulness, emotional awareness, or self-compassion), and close with a creative project — like Inside Out Portraits — that gives participants a tangible way to express what words sometimes can’t.
Who It’s For
Mindful Creations is open to anyone looking to strengthen their mental wellness through a gentle, creative, and community-centered approach.
