Connect Attachment Program
May 20, 2026
The Connect Program is a free, evidence-based 10-week group program for parents and caregivers of youth aged 8–18. Adolescence is a time of significant change, as young people develop emotionally, socially, and mentally while preparing for adulthood. This stage can bring increased challenges, but also important opportunities for growth and stronger relationships.Grounded in attachment theory, it helps caregivers better understand their child’s behaviour, strengthen their relationship, and respond to challenges with confidence. The program is delivered in small groups through weekly 90-minute sessions, led by trained facilitators. Sessions are interactive and include guided discussion and reflection, and learning based on core attachment concepts that can be applied across many situations and relationships. Connect helps caregivers develop ways of responding to challenging behaviours and strong emotions, while building stronger, more secure family connections during the adolescent years.
